Caprine Cookie Cutter Decorations

 

For unique decorations, make a “dough” out of 1 cup apple sauce, 1 cup ground cinnamon (inexpensive in larger containers at Costco or Sam’s Club), 2 TBS ground cloves and 2 TBS white glue (all amounts are approximate).  Pat the dough out on a flat surface that has been covered with foil (to about a ¼” thickness) and use your Caprine Cookie Cutters to make your goats to hang in different areas of your home as a cinnamon air freshener.  Be sure to put a hole in the “topline” to insert a piece of raffia or just insert an ornament hanger (or paperclip) while the dough is still wet. These smell absolutely wonderful as they dry on your wood stove or on your oven rack (at a very low temperature).  When dry highlight your ornaments with fabric and/or glitter paint.  These are nice for all seasons; hang them in a palm or ficus tree, Christmas tree, add a special touch to a wrapped gift for one of your “goat friends” by hanging one to the bow or just set them out around the house.
