Cash was a very long boned buckling, wide in the rear end with a very wide, flat rump…his leg set, both front and rear is beautiful; he certainly has that sweet temperament I demand in my bucks. He has maintained his width and correctness (and great temperament). Cash's litter sister, April Fool freshened with a beautiful mammary system; she has been Res. Grand twice, once to a permanent champion and Grand twice which should make her a permanent champion. One of Cash's daughter was Res. Grand at the 2010 Dist. IIV ALC  Specialty where 56 LaMancha milkers were shown.

All I can say is take a look at the pictures on the right and then look at the pedigree above.  Now you can see why I wanted to add Dashing to the herd as my new Junior Herd Sire.

Dashing is long and level and stands on a beautiful feet and legs, plus he is a real sweetheart.  I am really excited about this little guy; I feel he is going to cross extremely well with my girls!  THANK YOU Alethea (Lee) for allowing Dashing to join the herd.

April, 2011 news:  Dashing's dam, Divine was taken to one of the very few shows the Altrece herd has exhibited at in several years ... Divine was Grand and BOB with somewhere around 25 milking LaManchas.  I cannot tell you how pleased I am with Dashing's kids.

Tiebreaker came to us from Lynne Kary (who was only able to use him for one season) ... I cannot say thank you enough times to convey how generous Lynne is and how much I appreciate having this sweet, gentle buck in the herd! Also a big thank you goes to Karen, Krista and Erica Senn for breeding Tiebreaker and allowing me to use the pictures from their website.  How can I not be excited to use Tiebreaker in my breeding program?  Tiebreaker is strong in general appearance, being long and tall with an incredible temperament.  I absolutely love the consistent production of Pepsi Twist.  I think the pictures on the right tell the story of what I feel Tiebreaker should produce.

General information:  Tiebreaker brings Kismet back into the herd (not that she hasn't always been contributing to the herd in one way or another).  Kastdemur's Sprite is out of a ++*B TC Brite Future son (Backtothefuture). Future is a Kismet son; some of his sisters (full, three quarter and half) include SGCH TC Brite Komedianne (called Annie Brat), CH TC Kismet's Eclipse, GCH TC Brite Karess, GCH T C Kismet's Kylara & GCH TC Brite Kylee.

Last year I was very excited to see what Bow would have bred to Cruise; I had planned on keeping a buck and a doe from that breeding.  Well, things didn't work out as I had hoped; Bow became very ill and was checking out when she dumped her kids (2 does and a buck). The first round of medical treatment saves Bow, but then she developed blue bag; when we went in to do the mastectomy I had hoped that at least a half of her udder could be saved so she could be appraised again rather than keeping her incredible yearling score ... I was being greedy.  Unfortunately the second half of Bow's udder was already infected so she had a complete mastectomy.  This year Trisha had my breeding list and was able to get a few of my does bred (during the time I was hospitalized and then living with Trisha's grand mother and one of my best friends, Bev who was caring for me as my friend and nurse:-)); one of those breedings was Bow to Cruise.  This was the last natural service from Cruise before he died so everyone had their fingers and toes (my eyes as well) crossed.  Bow looked like she was going to populate the whole state with Cruise X Bow babies, but out popped only one large, gorgeous buck kid.  I will try to get a picture of Sea Cruise very soon ... he is one handsome boy!

"Champ's" daughters are simply beautiful and very milky.  Type and milk (Top Ten daughters) what more could you ask for?  Top off how nice daughters are with the facts that Champ has incredible temperament.  His full sister, Cate was not only the '07 Res. National Champion, but has a 3500 pound milk record AND she is the ALC '08 Supreme All-American.

Please allow me to brag a little and say, Cayenne is sired by T*C Sir Hershey, sire of at least 18 CH daughters.

Besides being an absolute sweetheart of a buck (he thinks he's a puppy and wags his tail when he sees people), Cruise is an excellent sire; his daughters are very impressive! Cruise has 11 daughters that represent 14 appraisals with an average score of 88.7. I am honored to have an outstanding daughter, T*C SFTC Quail and a son, T*C SFTC Take A Sea Cruise who is my newest Jr. herd sire.
